I bought this for a 33-day trip in May through the desert southwest. Camp sites ranged from low to high elevation. At higher elevations when nighttime temperatures were 30-40 degrees (F), this bag seriously under performed. I shivered all night despite wearing several layers of clothing. This is supposed to be a 20 degree bag! At lower elevations and higher temperatures (50F+) this was a very comfortable bag. The flannel inside is soft. The zippers are top quality. I loved all the extra room of the king-size bag, but its inability to keep me warm at moderately low temperatures means it won't be getting much use on my serious camping trips. May take it along for the dog to sleep in. Not recommended below 50 degrees.
